With only a few workshops to go it's getting close now to installing the Fallen Oak Leaf Project at the Williamson Art Gallery. I have been working with the community as Artist in Residence at Prenton High School for Girls and in assocaition with the Wilfred Owen Commemorance in the lead up to the centenary of the end of World War 1.
Over October half term I will be running the final workshop at the Williamson Art Gallery collecting the finished leaves to be displayed amongst the hundreds that will be shown for the commemorance.
I have also been working on another project as one of the Wilfred Owen Commemorance artists designing poppies that will be on display in Hamilton Square gardens on 11th November. I will be running this workshop as well as the Fallen Leaf Workshop on the 26th October so come along and decorae a leaf and construct a poppy in commemoration. Both workshops are free and open to anyone to take part in.
