The pieces below were produced by y10's at Upton Hall Girls School during a half day workshops. I showed them how to make the various types of fungi and the different types of bases to work with before they made decisions on what they wanted to produce.

When working on a coral project at Prenton High School for Girls I was asked to work with two extra classes to show them how to create fungal pieces from paper in the same way as the coral.

The girls were already working on a project so this is just an additional task to add detail to the sculptural pieces they were already creating. They produced a small sample piece measuring 9cm by 9cm using a tiny board and they reproduced the most successful fungi as detail on their sculptures.
